Open forum tonight on officer shooting

All community members are invited to an open forum tonight to address the shooting of Officer Tim Brenton.

The East Precinct Crime Prevention Council and the Leschi Community Council are co-hosting the event which will give community members a chance to ask Sergeant John Hayes, and other members of the Seattle Police Department, questions about the incident and local crime.

The forum is scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight at the Central Area Senior Center, 500 30th S. Space will be limited so arrive early. There is also little parking available so attendees are encouraged to walk or carpool.
