Leschi and Frink parks
Our number one Secret Seattle Park is a bonus two-parks for the price of one.
Leschi and Frink Parks are two of Seattle's oldest, now over one hundred years old. They have seen Seattle grow up from a small mill town to the metropolis it is today.
Back then this was a favorite weekend destination for Seattleites -- there was a casino, and Seattle's first zoo was here, too. Leschi and Frink were the gateway to the wilds of the untamed Eastside.
Beyond the popular waterfront and manicured gardens of Leschi, lies a hidden look back into Seattle's past. If you look closely, you can find little hints of what this city used to be, and what this park has meant to the city. It's a great place to explore.
